We've already begun our 'greening' of Haywards Heath and Mid Sussex by creating our Green Guide to the local area. This can be found at http://www.midsusfoe.co.uk/greenguide2008.pdf We've begun to list as many eco and local businesses and organisations as we can to support their activities andpromote green issues. Many of our local businesses are under extreme pressure from large supermarkets and we need to do everything we can to support them or we'll end up with 'clone' high streets across the UK with no variety or local character.

As part of the Green Guide project, we want to get all of the businesses onto a green map so it makes it easier for people to find an organisation and thus use them.

Any help, comments or thoughts on the Green Guide project or the green map for the Mid Sussex area would be welcomed.
