グリーンマップ制作目的

Our Green Map project will support our Frost Sustainable Campus Initiative which strives to improve the sustainability of the campus from a social, economic and ecological perspective. The Frost Campus Green Map project will allow us to map our sustainability progress using the Campus Sustainability Assessment Framework of the Sierra Youth Coalition of Canada.

The Frost Campus Green Map project is being under taken under the auspices of the Frost Sustainable Campus Committee through the efforts of a small team of students from our Geographic Information Systems (Cartographic Specialist) program.

The Frost Campus occupies a 250 acre site (formerly agricultural lands) along the Scugog River. The physical plant occupies in excess of 200,000 square feet and involves specialized education and training facilities along with recreational and student life facilities. The educational programming of the campus is heavility focused around environmental protection, natural resource conservation and enviromental sustainability themes and is comprised of 1, 2 and 3 year programs of study. Annual student enrolment is approximately 1200.
