Welcome to Someville, Massachusetts! Somerville is one of the densest cities in the Northeast! Incorporated as a city in 1872, it spans 3.93 square miles for 75,000 inhabitants.

The Sustainable Somerville map is intended to give a whole system, or bird's eye view, of the amazing number of sustainability projects, initiatives, and places already existing in Somerville. It will also point to where opportunities for greater sustainability lie. It is here to visually represent what is taking place on the ground.

Sustainable Somerville aims to connect and enable the various entities in Somerville working to increase the environmental, economic, social, and health sustainability of the city.
