Vancouver has some of the most innovative city planning strategies in North America yet our environmental footprint is unacceptably high. By making this map, we would like to promote environmentally friendly lifestyle, by giving green places some promotion on the map.

We plan to focus on mapping the City of Vancouver, and possibly expand the map coverage. We will gradually expand into integrating the Green Map with GIS style online mapping (Google Api)

The audience of the project includes locals as well as visitors. Anyone who has an interest in greening his/her lifestyle can participate in our discussion groups. Email joho@johomaps.com for more information.
